Our Commitment to the North York Moors National Park

Located right on the edge of the magnificent North York Moors National Park, we are deeply proud to support this unique environment. On our working farm, we are committed to operating in unison with nature, demonstrating our dedication to preserving its beauty and ensuring a sustainable future for all.

As a Champion, we work closely with the National Park to provide the best experience for our guests while sharing their ethos of enjoying and looking after this special place. We’re passionate about the North York Moors and committed to keeping it that way.

We are committed to minimizing light pollution to protect the incredible dark skies of the North York Moors, which were designated an International Dark Sky Reserve in 2020. This helps preserve the natural environment, benefits wildlife, and allows everyone to enjoy the beauty of the stars. We provide binoculars, torch and a Star guidebook for you to maximise your discovery

We support and encourage our guests to explore the North York Moors on foot. We provide information and resources to help them enjoy the many walking trails in the area, promoting a healthy and sustainable way to experience the landscape. We provide an OS map of the area, with some suggested walks and recommend you bring your walking boots…

There are some fantastic downloadable walks on the NYMNP website too!
