As the vibrant colours of spring settle over the North York Moors, here at New Sheepfold Farm (home to your luxurious Incline View Holidays shepherd huts), we’ve just bid farewell to another incredibly busy and rewarding lambing season. It’s been a whirlwind of dedication, late nights, and the profound joy of welcoming new life into the world.

Lambing season is a true testament to the rhythm of farm life, bringing both immense highs as tiny lambs find their feet and the inevitable challenges that require unwavering commitment. This year, we’ve been immensely proud of our phenomenal team – both seasoned hands and enthusiastic new recruits – whose tireless efforts and unwavering support made it all possible. Their passion ensures that every new arrival gets the best start, embodying the care and dedication that runs through everything we do on the farm.

For guests staying in our huts during this magical time, you might have caught glimpses of these new beginnings, adding an authentic layer to your peaceful escape. Being surrounded by a working farm means you’re truly immersed in the natural cycle of the countryside. This dedication to our animals and the land contributes directly to the tranquil, wildlife-rich haven you experience from the comfort of your hut.

A huge thanks to Ross, Uncle Dick, Pippa, Imogen, Kat, Kelly, Ophelia, Isabelle & Isaac. And to our new to lambing recruits Charlie, Harvey, Katy, Will, Harrison & Lucy
